La Mesa Lumber & Hardware is a full service retail lumber, hardware, and building materials dealer situated on four acres in downtown La Mesa. The lumberyard was established in 1907 and has been family owned and operated since 1945.

Mark Olson - Lumber Purchasing Manager Mark has been with the La Mesa Lumber & Hardware for almost thirty years. He took over as lumber purchaser when his father retired in 1996. He has established long term relationships with vendors as well as customers who depend on him for the best lumber at the best price delivered on time. Chris Gauger - Operations Manager Chris began working at La Mesa Lumber in 1983 as yard cleanup man. He has worked his way up to Operations Manager and brings a great deal of experience to the demanding job of running a lumberyard. Chris handles deliveries, yard sales, equipment and inventory management, but he always has time to listen to customers and answer questions. Door and Window Installation Division Rona Catlin - Manager Rona Catlin joins La Mesa Lumber with nearly twenty years of window experience. In her previous position as territory manager for a nationally known window manufacturer, she gained extensive experience working with homeowners, contractors, architects and tract builders. She serves La Mesa Lumber as our window and door specialist, as well as manager of our Installed Sales Division. So, whether you are a contractor who needs a window-and-door take-off for a new home or a homeowner who is uncertain which kind of replacement windows and doors would work best for you, Rona is here to help. Kim Wood - Retail Hardware Sales Manager Kim has been with La Mesa Lumber for 15 years. Under his management, the hardware and tool department has quickly grown since it was expanded in 1996.
